There are plenty of places online where you should buy domain names. GoDaddy, DomainCheapsters are two of the most common, and one’s I’ve personally used. If you’d like to find more just visit some web marketing forums and ask for viewpoints, or try a search. Many sites offer sales or multiple domain reductions. I know at DomainCheapsters if you buy six or even more at a time they are around $6 to $7 depending on the extension you get. Personally, I am going to use a .com, .net or .org. You’ll have to find what is best for you, but you need to recollect something : many of us will say that patrons will forget a long URL or a different extension, which is correct but how does one target lots of your customers?
If you aren’t handing out business cards and expecting them to type in the domain name than it is not such a massive issue. bother to create your net presence, do not get bamboozled into believing that going the ‘free’ route with a blog is the simplest way to go. If you don’t buy domain names and rely solely on the free services you don’t essentially own your allocated share of net property and you do not present a pro image.
